SI South Perth is hosting an information evening on Tuesday, 31 May 2011 commencing at 7.00pm, at the Como Bowling Club, 99 Hensman Street, South Perth. An information flyer is attached.

Speakers on the night will be Margaret Lobo, Immediate Past President Soroptimist International, who will talk about her experience and travels as the International President of our organization. Jennie van Driel from SI Joondalup will talk about an interesting project in Timor L’Este, and South Perth members will speak about the development of the Place of Reflection in Kings Park as a place for families and friends of missing persons to find solace. This is an opportunity for us to promote SI South Perth and the work of Soroptimists locally and internationally.

Soroptimist International of South Perth is a team of enthusiastic, energetic women using our professional skills and networks to advance the status of women and make a difference in both our local and the international community. As an international organisation we seek to transform the lives of women and girls through our global network of members and international partnerships.

We hope you will be able to join us on Tuesday 31 May. You are welcome to bring other friends or family who might be interested in learning more about our organization. For catering purposes, please RSVP to Jane Jones (0429 911023 or sisp09@gmail.com) by Friday 27 May.

With thanks
Jane Jones
