SI Rockingham – Sausage Sizzle
SI Rockingham members “cooking up a storm” at their Sausage Sizzle on 22nd October, 2011 at Bunnings, Rockingham.
One of two sausage sizzles held each year to raise funds for ongoing projects to support women and girls internationally, locally and nationally, all members embrace the day enthusiastically. While some ladies are not able to work on the day, they are behind the scenes chopping the onions – a very smelly job. What a great crew!
After 850 sausages and buns, 50 kilos of onions and nearly 350 drinks, the ladies were simply all cooked out. And “NO” we weren’t selling “Huggies” as pictured in pickie 2.
For a grand profit of $1,800.00 for the last sizzle of the year, at the end of the day it makes all the hard work and laughter worthwhile.
