Happy Knitting for the Safety Bay guides in August with members of SI Rockingham.

SI Rockingham Guide Mentor Linda Punter introduced fellow members Jenny Norris (left) and Dianne Webb (middle right) to guide Leader Rachel (middle left) to help the Safety Bay Girl Guides learn to knit on a “Cool August Night”.

What an interesting night was had by all as Jenny and Dianne wrestled with the rudimentary skills of knitting learned at primary school and possibly before to pass on to the  Girl Guides.   The girls were enthusiastic and pleasant to teach but we certainly didn’t achieve a beanie or a scarf in the two hours that we were there.

Many thanks to the Guides for the lovely supper that they prepared and served at the end of the evening.
