Sleeping Bags to provide some comfort on cold nights!
On the 26th July 2011 Jane and Irene visited the Army and Navy Store in Wellington Street to purchase sleeping bags for people sleeping on the streets. We had a target of 10 to buy but with a discount from the manager we were able to buy 11. We promptly took them to Uniting Care West in East Perth along with 3 throw rugs. They were gratefully received and it is very satisfying to we know that 11 people will be a little bit more comfortable on these cold nights.
