SI Riverside – Movie Afternoon
On Sunday October 10 Soroptimist International of Riverside hosted a movie afternoon, showing Eat, Pray, Love. The 74 guests enjoyed the movie and generously supported the raffle. The raffle prize was a sumptuous hamper of items centred around the themes of eating, praying and loving. The movie afternoon raised over $700 towards local and international projects supported by Soroptimist International of Riverside.

SI Riverside – Ramu Community Resource Centre
Throughout 2010 members of Soroptimist International of Riverside have been collecting books for the Ramu Community Resource Centre in Papua New Guinea. On Sunday October 10 the shipping container bound for Papua New Guinea was filled with the donated resource materials and closed. As well as donating goods, members contributed $1,000 towards the cost of shipping the container, which was organized by SDA Church Manjimup. The members look forward to hearing frequent updates from Soroptimist International of Ramu who are also involved in the project.
